SUPPORTING WOMEN WITH ENDOMETRIOSIS
Exercise & Strength Training
with Endometriosis
Ever wondered whether you can exercise with endometriosis? Or felt like every workout program ignores what your body is going though? You’re not alone.
Why Exercise Feels So Hard with Endometriosis
WHEN FITNESS PROGRAMS DON’T WORK
Women with endometriosis can feel like traditional fitness advice simply doesn’t work for them
You might have experienced:
Workouts triggering pain or flare-ups
Feeling exhausted after training
Being told to ‘push through it’
Confusion about what exercises are safe
Frustration from starting over again and again
The truth is, training with endometriosis requires a different approach.
Your body needs a program that adapts to energy levels, symptoms and recovery - not one that forces you into a rigid routine.
Hi,
Endo Warrior! How to Exercise with Endometriosis Safely
A DIFFERENT APPROACH
At Project Fierce, training with endometriosis isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about learning how to exercise safely in ways that support your body and help you stay consistent long-term, without triggering flare-ups or worsening symptoms.
This might include:
Adjusting workouts around energy levels
Modifying exercises during flare-ups
Focusing on strength without over-stressing the body
Building consistency instead of all-or-nothing training
Understanding how hormones and cycles affect your training
Our clients discover that once their workouts start working with their body instead of against it, everything begins to feel more sustainable.
Common Questions About Working Out With Endometriosis
EXERCISE & ENDOMETRIOSIS
-
Yes - women with endometriosis can benefit from exercise when the approach is adapted to their symptoms and energy levels. The goal isn’t pushing through pain but finding movement that supports strength, circulation and overall wellbeing.
Start with our online personal training for women.
-
Strength training, mobility work and low-impact movement are often helpful. The key is adjusting intensity and exercise selection depending on how your body feels.
-
Flare-ups are a common concern. Training should adapt during those times by reducing intensity, modifying exercises, or focusing on mobility and recovery.
-
Sometimes rest is the best option but other times gentle movement can actually help reduce stiffness and support circulation. The key is learning how to listen to your body and adjust accordingly.

Training Through Stage 4 Endometriosis
WHY THIS MATTERS TO ME
I’m not just a trainer who has done extensive research into endometriosis - I’m also living through it.
As a stage 4 endometriosis warrior, I know firsthand how impossible it feel be to navigate exercise while managing pain, fatigue and unpredictable symptoms.
It took me a long time to learn how to adapt training so it actually supported my body rather than making things worse - and that’s coming from someone who had already been a personal trainer for over 10 years!
That experience shaped the way we coach women at Project Fierce.
You deserve guidance from someone who understands both the science of training and the reality of living with endometriosis.
